The Yoga Foundation leads an evidence based movement to reduce anxiety and depression and improve quality of life among people who experience disadvantage.
We design and deliver evidence-based yoga programs to people impacted by mental health concerns, trauma and experiencing disadvantage that prevents them from accessing yoga.
The yoga (meditation, mindfulness, breath tools, postures) is designed to create powerful change in mental health and social connection for at risk groups. We give people in hardship the tools they need to help themselves lead a better life.
Your donation makes all the difference.

We work with a diverse range of people experiencing many forms of mental distress and disadvantage. Since 2009 we have supported Aboriginal women, veterans, people with cerebral palsy, refugees, asylum seekers, forensic patients, juvenile justice detainees, carers, psychiatric patients, women affected by domestic violence, people affected by addition, people experiencing homelessness and people affected by long term and persistent mental illness. We have built up expertise and a huge body of knowledge and skill.
Our highly experienced teachers work with the client and beneficiaries to create an appropriate class ideal for mental health consumers and vulnerable people. Outcomes have been outstanding.
