Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists

The Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists (AAYT) is the peak body for Yoga Therapy in Australia. Both the Yoga Foundation and AAYT share the core belief that individuals and groups in our community have the potential to experience the improved health benefits that yoga may bring. Billabong Retreat

Billabong is a thirty-bed boutique retreat offering affordable escapes with amazing organic spa cuisine, an incredible nature setting, stunning resort style swimming pool, gentle yoga, mindfulness and meditation classes. Created by husband and wife team Paul & Tory, Billabong is a family business with personal attention and an intimate welcoming atmosphere. Paul supports The Yoga Foundation by helping promote and raise awareness of our work.


The Gaiam team live by the idea that yoga belongs to each of us and we all have something to gain. They invite people to find their strength, flexibility, or relaxation with our yoga clothes, media & gear. Gaiam donate some of their beautiful mats to The Yoga Foundation which all helps the people we work with feel special.

Govinda Valley

The Govinda Valley Retreat Centre is a non-profit organisation that has been enthusiastically serving the Sydney community since 2006. Their goal is to provide a clean, safe, nourishing space for groups to learn and expand. The team is dedicated to providing the most comfortable environment possible to conduct conferences, seminars, or retreats. Govinda Valley generously support the work of The Yoga Foundation.

Jensens Tennis at City Community Tennis, Prince Alfred Park 

City Community Tennis is managed by Jensen’s Tennis, a family owned small business originally established by Director Pat Jensen’s father Eddie. The team works hard to keep tennis affordable and accessible for all ages and levels of ability. City Community Tennis has made their beautiful community room available to The Yoga Foundation for events and training.

The Yoga Institute

Established in 2000, the Yoga Institute specialises in providing comprehensive, authentic and inspiring Yoga Studies courses and Teacher Training certification. They offer an educational experience that informs, and nurtures a student's personal and professional understanding of yoga, and develop the knowledge and skills to become competent and confident yoga teachers. The Yoga Institute supports The Yoga Foundation with knowledge and access to specialised teachers.
